The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) plans a redesign for M-29 in Marine City. The resurfacing project will reduce the main thoroughfare from two lanes in each direction to one lane, with the addition of a center turn lane. MDOT is seeking community feedback on this proposal. An open house will be held at Marine City Hall on South Parker Street on December 18, from 5 to 7 p.m., where residents can learn more about the project and share their opinions.
