M-46 Bridge Replacement

The Michigan Department of Transportation will close M-46 east of Sandusky on Feb. 17th to replace the Black River bridge, part of a $26.4 million upgrade. Work began last year with road repairs, sewer replacements, and safety improvements in Sandusky, including M-19. This phase also includes resurfacing M-46 between Sandusky and Carsonville. The bridge project will keep M-46 closed until October, with traffic detoured via Ruth, Forester, and Maple Grove roads.
