Macomb County Road Funding

Macomb County is pursuing nearly $3 million in federal funding to resurface Jefferson Avenue, a vital road stretching from William P. Rosso Highway to 23 Mile Road. The project, estimated to cost about $4.5 million, will be funded through a grant application under the Transportation Improvement Plan. Chesterfield Township has committed $840,000 to the effort, while New Baltimore will contribute $160,520. Township officials see this as an opportunity to address necessary infrastructure upgrades, including storm drains.
