Blankets with Care, a non-profit organization, is set to host a unique event on December 14th, at the Michigan Veterans Home of Chesterfield. This “Mock Quarter Auction” is designed to bring moments of joy to veterans while raising funds for their well-being.
During the event, veterans will be given plastic quarters to “bid” on items donated by the public. The auction will be a fun and interactive way for veterans to win prizes while strengthening their sense of community and camaraderie.
Blankets with Care encourages the public to participate by donating to their Amazon Wishlist or mailing donations to their address. The event is a heartwarming opportunity for the community to come together and show appreciation for the veterans who have served their country.
