A Carsonville man was hospitalized after his SUV ran off the road last Thursday evening in Minden Township. The 30-year-old was driving west on Bay City Forestville Road near Obee Road around 7 p.m. when his Dodge Journey veered into a ditch. Emergency crews from Sanilac EMS and local fire departments responded, and the man, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to McLaren Thumb Region Hospital with possible injuries. Authorities said alcohol was not involved.
