At around 1 p.m., police responded to the noise, triggering safety measures as officers checked the school and nearby area. It was later confirmed that the sound came from equipment at a nearby work site, not gunfire. Authorities thanked the school staff, students, and parents for their cooperation and praised the community for staying alert and reporting the incident.
