Noise Sends School into Lockdown

Port Huron Police declared an “all clear” after a possible gunshot report led to a lockdown at Cleveland Elementary School Thursday afternoon. At around 1 p.m., police responded to the noise, triggering safety measures as officers checked the school and nearby area. It was later confirmed that the sound came from equipment at a nearby work site, not gunfire.
