A Carsonville woman suffered minor injuries after crashing her Jeep late Saturday night in Elmer Township. Around 11:20 p.m., her SUV ran a stop sign at Shepherd and Marlette roads, hit a sign, landed in a ditch, and finally stopped 200 yards into a field. David Walter Talisman II, 37 from Minden City, was convicted on seven felony charges including first-degree home invasion and aggravated stalking. The charges stem from two incidents in July 2024.
