Catholic Charities Counseling Services in St. Clair County is hosting a Hearts for Hope event on February 13th, from 5-8 p.m. at the Port Huron Golf Club. The fundraiser will support children’s services, including trauma therapy for kids. This need has grown recently, and the local advisory board aims to raise funds for it. A 23-year-old man from Lexington suffered minor injuries after his SUV rolled over Friday night in Worth Township. Around 9 p.m., emergency crews responded to South Lakeshore Road near Galbraith Line Road. Authorities say the man was trying to pass another vehicle when he hit a snow and ice patch, lost control, and rolled into a field. EMS treated him at the scene before he was taken to Lake Huron Medical Center. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have played a role in the crash.
