St. Clair County’s first baby of 2025 made his debut at 4:02 p.m. on New Year’s Day at McLaren Port Huron. Parents Abbigale and Tommy Stephan welcomed their third child, a baby boy, who shares a January 1st birthday with his twin uncles, Bo and Blake. Baby Stephan joins big sisters London, 6, and Drew, 2. Adding to the excitement, the family had just finished moving into their new home the night before his arrival, making his timing even more special.

Early Morning Fire

A fire early Thursday morning in Lapeer County sent two residents to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
