The Port Huron Police Department is inviting young adults aged 14 to 20 to apply for its Police Explorer Program. This initiative offers an excellent chance to learn about law enforcement while working alongside officers in the community. Participants will gain valuable skills through regular meetings focused on training and discussions, but it’s important to note that they are non-sworn volunteers and will not have any law enforcement authority. Explorers may assist at public events like parades, but they will always be supervised.
