McLaren Port Huron Hospital Offers Summer Grief Support For Parents

Mourning the loss of a child is something no parent should have to suffer. To help with the grieving process McLaren Port Huron Hospital is hosting a Child Loss Support Group this summer. 

 Meetings will take place on the first Monday of each month: June 3rd, July 1st, and August 5th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. 

This community-led support group aims to improve the mental and physical well-being of parents who have lost a child through compassionate discussions along with access to local resources. This initiative highlights the importance of community support in alleviating the heavy burden of child loss.

ALDI Recalls Cream Cheese Spreads Over Potential Salmonella Risk

In cooperation with Schreiber Foods, Inc., popular grocery store, ALDI Inc. is recalling various cream cheese spreads which include: Happy Farms Whipped Cream Cheese Spread, Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread, Cream Cheese Spread, and Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread due to potential salmonella contamination. 

The affected products were sold in select ALDI stores across 30 states, including Michigan, California, Florida, New York, and Texas. ALDI prioritizes customer safety and advises those with affected products to discard them immediately or return them to the store for a full refund. 

This precautionary recall underscores ALDI’s commitment to product integrity and consumer well-being. Customers seeking more information are encouraged to contact ALDI customer service. If you have consumed any of these products and develop symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain, contact your physician immediately.

St. Clair County Community Mental Health Invites Community To Grand Re-Opening Celebration

St. Clair County Community Mental Health is thrilled to announce its grand re-opening at the Marine City Broadway Street Building and invites the public to join in the celebration.

On Wednesday, May 29th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the community is invited to an open house event filled with excitement and camaraderie. Located at 135 Broadway Street in Marine City, the festivities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:00 p.m., marking the beginning of a new chapter for the facility.
