United Way Of St. Clair County Invites Community To Annual Meeting & Campaign Celebration On April 30th
The United Way of St. Clair County extends a warm invitation to the community to join in their Annual Meeting and Campaign Celebration, scheduled for April 30th at Alexander’s Premier Banquet Center & Catering.
With doors opening at 4 p.m., attendees can expect an engaging program, beginning with the Annual Meeting at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:00 p.m., and concluding with a lively celebration.
Tickets to attend are priced at $25.00, which includes access to the event and dinner. A cash bar will also be available for refreshments throughout the evening.
This gathering serves as an opportunity to reflect on the United Way’s impactful initiatives and celebrate the generosity of donors and volunteers who contribute to building a stronger, more resilient community.

Annual Rich Schock Memorial Classic Golf Event Returns To Port Huron Elks Lodge In Honor of Legacy
Golf enthusiasts and supporters of The Arc of St. Clair County are gearing up for the highly anticipated Annual Rich Schock Memorial Classic Event, set to take place at the Port Huron Elks Lodge on June 1st.
Registration for the event, which begins at 7:30 a.m., is now open, with participants having the option to register individually, as a team, or to become sponsors via the event website. Pre-registration by May 24th secures a spot for players.
The tournament, played in a best ball format, includes golf, cart, lunch, and various prizes. Additionally, attendees can participate in the Closest to Pin and Longest Drive Contests for a nominal fee.
The event honors and commemorates the memory and legacy of Rich Schock, a passionate golfer and former Arc employee who initiated the Golf Classic and was loved by the community.

St. Clair County Community Resource Fair 2024: A One-Stop Solution For Those In Need
On May 8th, the St. Clair County Community Services Coordinating Body (CSCB) is set to host its annual Community Resource Fair, spearheaded by the Housing & Support Workgroup.
Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Clair County Community College (SC4), this event at the College Center Building, 323 Erie Street, Port Huron, aims to assist individuals and families facing homelessness, at-risk situations, or severe financial strains.
This year’s fair, held in-person, promises a comprehensive array of services. Attendees can access community resource vendors, a mobile food pantry, personal care items, and giveaways. Notably, Community First Health Centers and the St. Clair County Health Department will provide vaccines and testing onsite.
Kimberly Foxwell, Student Wellness Manager at SC4, emphasized the event’s vital role in linking 251 households to essential resources last year.
