Early Morning Car Wash Fire

A fire heavily damaged the Croswell Car Wash early Tuesday morning, with no injuries reported. The fire broke out around 2 a.m. on East State Street, quickly engulfing the building and spreading through the roof. Firefighters worked fast using aerial trucks and attack lines to fight the flames. Despite the roof collapsing, the blaze was under control by 3:51 a.m. Emergency services from Croswell Police, Sanilac County Sheriff, and EMS assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Give the Kids a Lift

The 24th annual “Give the Kids a Lift” fundraiser returns to Sarnia-Lambton on March 22nd, aiming to exceed $300,000 for local children’s services. Pathways Health Centre and Ironworks Health and Wellness Centre are hosting the charity bench press competition from 10 to 1 p.m. This event helps kids with physical, developmental, and communication needs. Over the past 23 years, it’s raised over $285,000. Everyone is invited to participate or cheer on the lifters.
