CityFlatsHotel has reopened CitySide Café in downtown Port Huron, offering a refreshed menu of breakfast and lunch options. Formerly The Kitchen, the café has been revamped with new dishes like the Florentine Muffin and Pearled Sugar Waffles, while still keeping some old favorites. Casinos Bring Financial Rewards

Point Edward and Sarnia have reaped significant financial rewards from their local casinos, with nearly $550,000 in recent payments from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Point Edward received about $448,500 for hosting Starlight Casino, a facility that has generated over $53 million since opening in 2000. Sarnia, on the other hand, received just over $100,000 from Gateway Casinos Sarnia, contributing to $27.8 million since 1999.
