A Carsonville woman suffered minor injuries after crashing her Jeep late Saturday night in Elmer Township. Around 11:20 p.m., her SUV ran a stop sign at Shepherd and Marlette roads, hit a sign, landed in a ditch, and finally stopped 200 yards into a field. Sanilac deputies and Marlette emergency crews responded. She was treated at the scene and taken to Marlette Regional Hospital. Authorities say alcohol and drugs were not involved.
