Man Charged After Car Shooting

A 21-year-old man, Zachary Stein, appeared in Port Huron court last Wednesday after allegedly shooting at another driver near Pine Grove Park a few days earlier. Police say Stein fired multiple shots from his vehicle at a car he had an ongoing dispute with. The victim was not hit but their vehicle was damaged. Stein was arrested in Sterling Heights with help from local police. He faces serious felony charges including assault with intent to murder and carrying a concealed weapon. Stein’s bond is set at $500,000, and a court hearing is scheduled for early June.
