MDOT Toll Increase Meeting

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will hold a virtual meeting on Nov. 12th at 5:30 p.m. to discuss upcoming toll increases for the eastbound Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron. MDOT proposes either a $2 increase on Dec. 1 or a phased approach: $1.50 this December, plus $0.50 in December 2025. The bridge, connecting Port Huron to Ontario, hasn’t raised tolls since 2010, despite rising maintenance costs. MDOT urges residents, commuters, and businesses to attend and share input.
