Parolees Busted in St. Clair County

St. Clair County Drug Task Force arrested two parolees last week after a methamphetamine investigation on White Street. Officers stopped the suspect’s vehicle, leading to a search of the home, where they found a large stash of meth, cash, packaging, and drug paraphernalia. Chad Hamilton, 34, was charged with multiple felonies, including intent to deliver meth, maintaining a drug house, and parole violation. He was arraigned and given a $50,000 bond. Both suspects were taken to St. Clair County Jail.

Lincoln Park Woman Charged

A Lincoln Park woman is charged with open murder in the Jan. 28 shooting death of Vincent Buckles in Port Huron. Sayon Florence, 36, was arraigned Friday with bond set at $2 million, and a probable cause hearing set for Feb. 25th. She was previously arrested and released before being taken into custody again. A 22-year-old suspect tied to the case was also arrested in Georgia and is wanted for a ’23 double homicide in Detroit. Open murder carries a possible life sentence.
