Parole Sweep Finds 10 Violators

The Port Huron Police Major Crimes Unit and Michigan Corrections officers made surprise visits to 25 parolees across St. Clair County last Wednesday. Fifteen followed their release rules, but ten were caught violating parole. Two had warrants in Sanilac County and were arrested. Five had phones seized for suspected sexual material, one had drugs, and another was caught with guns and alcohol. Police say more charges could follow once evidence is reviewed by state investigators.
