Pepsi Dig In Day Returns, Celebrating Black-Owned Restaurants And Offering $100,000 In Free Meals

Pepsi’s Dig In platform, dedicated to promoting Black-owned restaurants, is making a comeback with Pepsi Dig In Day on August 19th. The event aligns with National Black Business Month and aims to drive access, growth, and awareness to Black-owned eateries across the nation.

A block party in Washington, D.C. will shine a spotlight on local Black enterprises, while curated dinner events in partnership with the James Beard Foundation will showcase talented chefs and restaurateurs. Pepsi Dig In will also generously cover $100,000 in free meals for consumers visiting select Black-owned restaurants in your area.

Foodies are encouraged to participate on social media by sharing pictures of their meals from Black-owned restaurants, tagging both the eatery and Pepsi Dig In. By doing so, they have a chance to win $5,000 to spend at their favorite Black-owned restaurants and unlock a $5,000 donation to that restaurant as well
