Port Huron Honors Beloved Volunteer

Downtown Port Huron is celebrating one of its own after longtime volunteer Kathy Kos received the Steve Revnik Award at the recent City Council meeting. Residents know Kathy as the quiet force behind the downtown flowerbeds, putting in nearly 200 volunteer hours from May through October to keep them bright and welcoming. As a member of the St. Clair County Master Gardeners, she brings both skill and heart to every project. City leaders say downtown simply wouldn’t look the same without her steady commitment.
