Port Huron Man Faces Life Sentence

A Port Huron man faces life behind bars following a violent, unprovoked stabbing outside an Eastpointe motel along Gratiot Avenue. Prosecutors say 49 year old Eric Dewayne Williams attacked a complete stranger three times in the abdomen late at night before fleeing the scene. Williams returned to the property shortly after, where police quickly took him into custody while searching for the weapon. His bond is set at one million dollars as he faces charges of assault with intent to murder and tampering with evidence.
