Port Huron Seeks Public Input

Port Huron residents can give input on changes to Water Street between 10th and 13th streets at a public meeting tonight at 6 at the Municipal Office Center. The city is considering a “road diet,” reducing the street from four lanes to three with a center turn lane. The $2.645 million project, partly funded with $1.2 million in federal dollars, includes full roadway reconstruction, storm sewer upgrades, sewer repairs, and lead service replacements. Public feedback will help finalize the lane layout.
