Port Huron police are changing how they mark September 11th this year. On the 25th anniversary, the department is skipping the usual speeches, rifle volley and dove release for a quieter tribute. From 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at International Flags Plaza, honor guard members will stand watch over displays naming police, fire and EMS personnel killed that day, framed by three wreaths. The two-hour window mirrors the actual timeline of the attacks. Residents and first responders are invited to stop by anytime to reflect and pay their respects.
