A Fort Gratiot family is heading toward specialized care in Minnesota, thanks to a little help from a lot of friends. Trevor Mann’s coworkers at Motherson raised more than nine thousand dollars for his three-year-old daughter, Eden, who was born with a rare genetic condition that makes her skin so fragile that even everyday play can cause painful blisters. More than 250 employees dressed in purple last Wednesday to cheer her on, and local businesses and churches chipped in as well. The money will also help cover her ongoing medical bills.
