Port Sanilac’s historic lighthouse will open for limited public tours every Friday from July 4th through August 29th. For $10, guests can climb the tower, enjoy lake views, and explore the nearby Loop-Harrison Mansion. Proceeds support the Port Sanilac Lighthouse Conservancy and the Sanilac County Historical Society. Built in 1886, the lighthouse normally stays closed, making these summer tours a rare local treat. The lighthouse and museum give visitors a full dose of Sanilac’s maritime and pioneer history.
