Residents in Sarnia-Lambton are being urged to step up and help neighbors battling cancer get to treatment. The Canadian Cancer Society says its Wheels of Hope program needs more local volunteer drivers right now. Many patients struggle to make appointments due to health, cost, or lack of transportation. Volunteers can choose flexible schedules, committing just a few weekdays each month, and mileage is reimbursed. Anyone interested can sign up online at volunteercancer.ca or email volunteer@cancer.ca to get involved.
