St. Clair County Community College is honoring the late Kevin Totty Sr. as its ’24 Alumni of the Year, recognizing his deep impact on the Port Huron area. Totty, who died in September after a battle with cancer, was involved in several local organizations, including SONS Outreach and the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce. He also served as chaplain for the Port Huron Police. SC4 President Kirk Kramer praised Totty’s dedication to the community, calling his service invaluable. His funeral drew an overwhelming crowd.
