SCCCMH Offers Autism Support Group

The month of April is Autism Awareness Month, and St. Clair County Community Mental Health (SCCCMH) is offering their autism support group to the Blue Water Area.

Those caring for an individual with autism understand the challenges that come with it. Each individual case is unique and may vary in severity based upon where they fall on the spectrum.

The Autism Support Group allows anyone in the community who cares for and supports a child or an adult with autism, including parents, grandparents, friends, caregivers and other support staff.

Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month with meeting times at 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Meetings will be held at (SCCCMH) Child and Family Services located at 2415 24th Street, Port Huron. The next meeting will take place on May 18th.
