Authorities say a Sandusky Community Schools bus carrying 28 students tipped onto its side last Friday afternoon in Moore Township, but everyone walked away safely. The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office says the driver was turning around on Freiberger Road near West Sanilac Road when the bus slid off a soft, snowy shoulder and into a ditch. Deputies, firefighters, and EMS crews responded just after 3:30. All students were checked at the scene, and no one needed to go to the hospital.
