A Caro man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of murdering his one-year-old son. Brian Elswick, 28, was sentenced May 22nd in Tuscola County’s 54th Circuit Court. Authorities say the child died in February after suffering a traumatic brain injury. First responders found the boy unresponsive at a home on E. Deckerville Road. Elswick was found guilty on five counts, including open murder. He is now in Jackson County for prison intake.
