A Sanilac County man faces a probable cause conference next week after being charged with a string of felonies, including animal torture, crimes against nature, and possessing and distributing child sexually abusive material. 22-year-old Dallas William Hartley of Snover appeared in District Court last Thursday, where a hearing set his next appearance for Tuesday at 10 a.m. Investigators say Hartley was arrested in June after digital evidence tied him to uploading illegal material online. He remains jailed on a $10,000 bond.
