The Kimball Little League softball team made history by winning their first-ever Michigan District 7 championship in June, beating Emmett 4-1.Community members celebrated the victory alongside players and coaches, proud of how far the program has come. Coached by Marty Cook, the team has grown from just a few girls playing with boys to a full, competitive squad now headed to the state tournament starting today in Schoolcraft. Kimball faces Hudsonville in their opening game, aiming to make a lasting impression.
