Starting Sept. 4 through Oct. 30, the St. Clair County Health Department will extend hours every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for two vital programs.
The Preventive Health and Immunization Services will provide catch-up immunizations for all ages. The Personal Health Clinic will offer services such as STI screenings, pregnancy testing, and birth control options.
Walk-ins are accepted as time allows, with varying wait times. Director of Nursing Amy Bishop emphasized the goal of making services more accessible and convenient with later hours and a walk-in option.
