A St. Clair Township man accused of killing his father is now set for a jury trial. Authorities say 24-year-old Wyatt Stimac shot and killed his 56-year-old father, Shane Stimac, inside their Gratiot Avenue home back in March. Deputies responded after a 911 call and found Shane with multiple gunshot wounds. Wyatt has remained in the St. Clair County jail without bond since his arrest. His jury trial is scheduled for November 4th. He faces charges of open murder, felony firearm use, and assault with a deadly weapon.
