On Monday Kingston Community Schools had extra police presence after students shared a threat on social media. The Kingston Police, FBI, Tuscola County Sheriff, and Michigan State Police acted swiftly, removing the students involved. The case is now with the Tuscola County Prosecutor for review. Police emphasize that all threats, even jokes, cause fear and face serious consequences. They encourage parents to talk to kids about this and report concerns to schools or OK2SAY to keep schools safe.
