Students Partnering With Woodlands Developmental Center Can Make A Difference This Summer

With summer vacation on the way, students will be enjoying their time off, as well as looking for opportunities to volunteer their services to benefit their community.

If you have a student who would be interested in helping to make a difference in the lives of other students with developmental disabilities, Woodlands Developmental Center is looking for students to participate in their Links summer program.

Students in grades 7th – 12th will be providing peer-to-peer support in helping to develop life skills and promoting socialization.

There is a required training before participating which takes place June 20th, and 21st, from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. All paperwork required must be completed by Friday, May 12th.

If you would like more details and information on the program, please contact Chelsey Hull at: (810) 455-4366 or email at: hull.chelsey@sccresa.org.
