A teenage boy from Yale is recovering after being hit by a car Tuesday evening in Sanilac County’s Fremont Township. Deputies say the 16-year-old was running along East Galbraith Line Road near Brown Road just before 5 p.m. when he moved into traffic and into the path of an oncoming car. A Chevy Cruze struck him as he entered the westbound lane. He was taken to McLaren Port Huron for treatment. Investigators say drugs and alcohol were not factors, and the driver, a 21-year-old Lexington woman, was not injured.
