Downtown Port Huron businesses are being urged to get ready for a big Sunday. The Downtown Development Authority says President Donald Trump is expected to speak at McMorran Arena on Sunday, drawing about 4,000 people, plus possible overflow crowds. Authority Director Lisa DeLong is encouraging restaurants that are normally closed on Sundays to open their doors, line up extra staff, and stock up on food. She says that, no matter the politics, hungry visitors could give local businesses a boost.
