Firefighters and community members are preparing to walk across Michigan this September to honor fallen first responders and support local crews battling cancer. The Walk For The Red 4 day journey begins at Macomb Township Station Two and ends in Cascade Township, bringing together more than 57 dedicated walkers. Marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, participants aim to raise thousands of dollars for each registered firefighting family facing medical expenses or loss. Local families will march alongside emergency personnel to remember their loved ones.
