A 50-year-old woman was hospitalized after a fiery crash in Chesterfield Township on Tuesday morning. The woman was driving a Ford Escape on 23 Mile Road when she rear-ended a stopped Lincoln at Seaden Drive. The Lincoln caught fire, but everyone inside got out safely. The Ford rolled over, and firefighters had to rescue the driver, who was then taken to McLaren Macomb Hospital. She’s in stable condition. Authorities continued to investigate, and the road was closed for several hours.
