Yale’s wrestling team made history, reaching their first-ever MHSAA state final in Kalamazoo. Although they lost 74-0 to the eight-time champion Dundee, the Bulldogs’ journey was a major achievement. They finished the season with a 33-3 record, becoming the first Blue Water Area team since ’20 to make it to a state final. The Bulldogs fought hard in the semifinals, defeating Lakewood 43-25, with key victories from wrestlers like Cole McLaughlin and Logan Rhodes.
