Man Faces 30 Felony Counts

A Tuscola County man is behind bars after a Michigan State Police investigation led to 30 felony charges tied to child exploitation. Authorities say 24-year-old James Arthur Goudie was arrested Thursday after investigators seized digital evidence showing he was sharing abusive material online. Charges include aggravated possession and distribution of child sexually abusive content, along with using a computer to commit the crimes. Goudie was arraigned with bond set at $200,000. He’s due back in court tomorrow for a preliminary hearing.

Evening entertainment moves to Centennial Park, featuring stunt dogs, local bands, food trucks, and fireworks over the bay at 10 p.m. Free shuttles run all day from Northgate Terminal to help residents get to the party without the hassle of parking.
