Michigan Employees Prefer Working From Home Since Covid-19 Pandemic

The survey disclosed significant concerns among employees regarding a forced return to the office. 63% expressed a willingness to unionize to prevent it, with 72% fearing the adverse impact on their mental health.

SONS Outreach Offers Exciting New Cheerleading Program

SONS Outreach is thrilled to announce a brand new program catered to 1st – 8th graders with a passion for cheerleading. 

This exciting opportunity will not only teach the basics of cheer but also provide participants with the chance to cheer at football games, basketball games, parades, and more.

Walk-up registration for the program will take place on Saturday, July 29th, from 2 pm – 5 pm at the new SONS Outreach Center, located at 55 15th St., Port Huron. 

The season is set to kick off on Thursday, August 3rd, with regular practices scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm – 6 pm. The cost to register is $50.

Michigan’s Unemployment Rate Reaches A 23-Year Low

Michigan’s unemployment rate plummeted to 3.6% in June, marking the lowest rate in 23 years.
