The Arc Of St. Clair County Hosting Their Annual Flower Sale Fundraiser

The Arc of St. Clair County works to empower every adult with an intellectual/developmental disability such as autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, along with a host of others.

They are accepting orders for their Annual Flower Sale to raise funds that will further assist the organization and their goals. A goal of $5,000 is needed and they need the support of the community to accomplish this. 

Orders must be placed by Monday, April 10th. Individuals will then be able to pick up their orders on Friday, May 10th, between Noon – 6 p.m., just in time for Mothers Day!

Prices range from $16 to $58, with a selection that includes geraniums, begonia’s, and more. Styles and types may vary due to availability at time of delivery.

Healing Hearts Home Will Be Holding Its 2nd Annual Fancy Hat Spring Tea Event

If you’d like to support a great non-profit organization while having a great time doing so, then you don’t want to miss the upcoming event from Healing Hearts Home.

Healing Hearts Home will be hosting their 2nd Annual Fancy Hat Spring Tea event on Saturday, April 22, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. It will be located at 69227 N. Main, Richmond at Maniaci’s Banquet Center.

Not only will guests be wearing their fancy hats, but there will be music by CarolAnn and Cynthia Flood, live painting with Nicole Stahl, a silent auction, and a special musical performance from Multi-Dove Award-Winning Songwriter Kenna Turner West. The live painting created at the event will also be auctioned off for anyone who would like to purchase. 

Healing Hearts Home offers support and solutions to women and teen girls who have experienced sexual abuse.

The Council On Aging Fundraiser Receives Huge Support From Local Businesses

The Council on Aging located at 600 Grand River, Port Huron will be holding their 10th Annual March Mania Silent Auction to benefit the Port Huron Senior Center. 

The Council on Aging is a nonprofit that helps over 12,000 seniors each year remain self-sufficient. They provide a place for seniors to socialize, as well as home delivered lunches and activities that keep our seniors active. 

The auction will be held from March 20 – 24th. Bidding will be from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. beginning  on the 20th, and from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day after.  

The auction will feature approximately 50 gift baskets, as well as gift cards from local businesses such as Day Away Spa, DB’s Smokehouse BBQ, and more. There will be several themed baskets such as Movie Night, Fitness, and Game Night. 

All proceeds benefit the Port Huron Senior Center.

Party With Friends Of The St. Clair River At River Bash 2023

Are you looking for a reason to party and celebrate the arrival of spring? Well look no further than this year’s 2023 River Bash with Friends of the St. Clair River.

Friends of the St. Clair River is a volunteer-based organization that works to promote conservation, beautification, and environmental restoration projects along the St. Clair River.

Their upcoming event on Thursday, April 13th, will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Port Huron Yacht Club, 212 Quay Street, Port Huron.

The 2023 River Bash will feature a special keynote speaker, cash bar, dinner from Doña Marina’s, a silent auction, Cornhole on the Balcony, and more!

All proceeds support Friends of the St. Clair River’s mission and work. Tickets are $40 to attend.

Emilio’s A Million Chameleons Coming To Petrolia

If you’re looking for some family-friendly fun next week, check out our friends across the border in the City of Petrolia to experience Emilio’s A Million Chameleons.

Emilio’s A Million Chameleons is a musical about being true to oneself, supporting each other, and letting your inner sparkle shine. 

It will take place on Saturday, March 11th at Victoria Hall, 411 Greenfield Street, Petrolia. Showtimes are at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. 

The event is a fundraiser for a little boy named Waylon Saunders and his family, there is no charge to attend, but there will be a freewill cash donation at the door.

Support The Hunter Hospitality House Hope Blooms Fundraiser

Fundraisers are one of the ways nonprofit organizations raise money to continue the service that they provide for the community. The Hunter Hospitality House is calling on the support of the community to continue their exceptional service. 

Their Hope Blooms annual fundraising dinner will be taking place on Thursday, April 27th at the Blue Water Convention Center located at 800 Harker street, Port Huron. The event is from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., with an optional early start time of 4:30 p.m. 

The Hope Blooms fundraiser will feature a delicious dinner, music from Jimmy DeHeno and Still Running, a $1000 cash drawing, raffle items, and more!

Hunter Hospitality House provides free lodging for qualified guests who require specific medical services or treatments. 

Ticket prices are $65 each and can be purchased online or by check.
