Emilio’s A Million Chameleons Coming To Petrolia

If you’re looking for some family-friendly fun next week, check out our friends across the border in the City of Petrolia to experience Emilio’s A Million Chameleons.

Emilio’s A Million Chameleons is a musical about being true to oneself, supporting each other, and letting your inner sparkle shine. 

It will take place on Saturday, March 11th at Victoria Hall, 411 Greenfield Street, Petrolia. Showtimes are at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. 

The event is a fundraiser for a little boy named Waylon Saunders and his family, there is no charge to attend, but there will be a freewill cash donation at the door.

Support The Hunter Hospitality House Hope Blooms Fundraiser

Fundraisers are one of the ways nonprofit organizations raise money to continue the service that they provide for the community. The Hunter Hospitality House is calling on the support of the community to continue their exceptional service. 

Their Hope Blooms annual fundraising dinner will be taking place on Thursday, April 27th at the Blue Water Convention Center located at 800 Harker street, Port Huron. The event is from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., with an optional early start time of 4:30 p.m. 

The Hope Blooms fundraiser will feature a delicious dinner, music from Jimmy DeHeno and Still Running, a $1000 cash drawing, raffle items, and more!

Hunter Hospitality House provides free lodging for qualified guests who require specific medical services or treatments. 

Ticket prices are $65 each and can be purchased online or by check.

Blue Water Jeep Owners Club 4th Annual Polar Bear Run

It’s time for the Blue Water Jeep Owners Club (BWJOC) to put on their 4th Annual Polar Bear Run, a worthy cause geared towards helping our local children. 

The Blue Water Jeep Club began in 2012 when a group of strangers came together to meet for coffee. Since then they have been helping raise money for causes such as the annual Roof Sit in Port Huron, The Salvation Army, and Blue Water Community Action. 

Their annual Polar Bear Run is used to help raise funds to continue supporting these organizations and the well being of our children. 

The Polar Bear Run is a free event that takes place Saturday, February 25th, at the Fieldhouse Sports Bar and Kitchen located at 1106 Gratiot Blvd., Marysville. The event will be held from 12 noon – 4 p.m.

The 4th Annual Polar Bear Run will feature live music, ice-carving, raffles, games, and more!

The Arc Of St. Clair County 1st Annual Dinner Dance

Are you looking for an exciting Valentine’s Day event to attend for a good cause? If the answer is yes, then The Arc of St. Clair County has something for you. 

On Thursday, February 9th, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Arc of St. Clair County will be hosting its 1st Annual “Show The Love Dinner/Dance & Virtual Auction.” The event will be held at Alexander’s Banquet Center located at 1200 Gratiot Blvd., Marysville.  

The dinner/dance will feature a DJ, photo booth, virtual auction, 50/50 raffle, booze pull, dash for cash, and more! 

The event is part of an effort to raise $20,000 for The Arc of St. Clair County. Their mission is to support and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and advocating for their full inclusion and participation in the community.

East China School District Chili-Heart 5k Coming Soon

The East China Educational Foundation (ECEF) is hosting its 11th annual Chili-Heart 5K run and 2-mile walk this month. 

The goal of the event is to provide an endowment fund through the Community Foundation of St. Clair County, to be utilized for enrichment activities for the students of East China Schools District. Proceeds from the race will support ECEF grants for district teachers and staff.

The race will take place in a hybrid style, either in-person or virtually. Last year’s race was done entirely virtual, so with the success of that, it was decided to bring it back as an option this year. There will be chili and bread/snacks available to keep the runners warm and energized. 

The event begins February 12th, at 9 a.m. Registration is now open, with the cost of $15 for youth 17 and younger, and $25 for those 18 and up. Onsite registration is $30.

Detroit Pistons HBCU/NPHC Night Coming Soon

The Detroit Pistons will be gearing up to play the Phoenix Suns and the National Pan Hellenic Council (NPHC) is inviting you to join the Detroit Pistons HBCU/NPHC Night at Little Caesars Arena.

The NPHC is a collaborative organization of nine historically African American international Greek lettered fraternities. Their primary purpose and focus is camaraderie and academic excellence for its members and serving their respective communities through educational, economic, and cultural service activities.

On Saturday, February 4th, starting at 7 p.m., guests are welcome to hang out at Little Caesars Arena to watch the Detroit Pistons take on the Phoenix Suns for a night of fun for a good cause. The event is a fundraising opportunity for the Detroit, Pontiac, Grand Rapids, and Lansing NPHC organizations. 

Tickets are $45 dollars and include a long sleeve Pistons/Divine 9 shirt, post game celebration with the Pistons, and surprise guests.
