Hosted on Thursday, May 30th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 3702 at  2645 Howard St, Port Huron, the event promises a savory meal prepared by the dedicated staff and volunteers of the soup kitchen.

Guests can relish in a hearty spaghetti dinner while contributing to the general operations and services provided by Mid City Nutrition. With tickets priced at $15 for adults, $12 for children aged 12 and under, and free admission for children under 2, attendees can also enjoy the convenience of a cash bar.

Annual Rich Schock Memorial Classic Golf Event Returns To Port Huron Elks Lodge In Honor of Legacy

Golf enthusiasts and supporters of The Arc of St. Clair County are gearing up for the highly anticipated Annual Rich Schock Memorial Classic Event, set to take place at the Port Huron Elks Lodge on June 1st.

Registration for the event, which begins at 7:30 a.m., is now open, with participants having the option to register individually, as a team, or to become sponsors via the event website. Pre-registration by May 24th secures a spot for players.

The tournament, played in a best ball format, includes golf, cart, lunch, and various prizes. Additionally, attendees can participate in the Closest to Pin and Longest Drive Contests for a nominal fee.

The event honors and commemorates the memory and legacy of Rich Schock, a passionate golfer and former Arc employee who initiated the Golf Classic and was loved by the community.

Port Of Hopes Bowling Fundraiser Set To Strike Out Mental Health Stigma

Port of Hopes is gearing up for an evening of strikes and spares, all in the name of smashing the stigma surrounding mental illness. 

Sponsored by Sullivan Construction of St. Clair County LLC, the fundraiser will take place at Port Huron Lanes, located at 1718 Hancock St., on Saturday, May 4th. Doors open at 6 p.m. with bowling starting at 7 p.m. Admission is a $20 donation per person in advance, $25 at the door, which includes two games and shoes. 

Attendees can also participate in a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. All proceeds will directly support Port of Hopes’ initiatives, including constructing a pavilion and providing a stigma-free environment for outdoor activities.
