The victim, Austin Bieri of Bad Axe, told police the suspect held him at knifepoint in his Chevy Tahoe and forced him to withdraw cash from a local ATM before Bieri escaped at a stoplight. The stolen Tahoe was later found burned in a cornfield near the Elkton plant. Last Friday, Aron M. Laycock was arrested and faces charges of carjacking and tampering with evidence.
